Reward bigger carts automatically. Encourage customers to buy more with smart, tiered discounts based on quantity or subtotal. No coupon codes, no extra setup — just higher order values and happier buyers.

Turn bigger orders into bigger wins

You already know the math: when customers spend more, you win more. Progressive Discounts for WooCommerce makes that happen automatically.

Set up discounts that activate when a shopper adds more items or hits a higher subtotal. That simple incentive — “Spend $10 more to save 15%” — consistently pushes customers to go just a bit further. It turns casual browsing into confident buying and smaller carts into bigger wins.

Whether you want to run storewide promotions, reward bulk buyers, or create tailored pricing for specific products or categories, Progressive Discounts gives you the flexibility to do it all right inside your WooCommerce dashboard. No spreadsheets, no guesswork, just results.

Why store owners love it

“It’s the easiest way to increase average order value. Customers see the next discount tier and instantly add more to their carts.”

– Aaron, WooCommerce store owner

Progressive Discounts quietly guides shoppers toward spending more without any extra friction. Discounts apply automatically based on cart value or quantity, so there’s nothing for customers to enter and nothing for you to manage.

Tiered pricing gives your best buyers a reason to keep going — wholesale customers and high-volume shoppers feel rewarded while first-time buyers feel like they’ve found a deal.

Built-in store notices show customers exactly how close they are to the next discount tier, creating a natural sense of progress that boosts conversions. When people know they’re saving more by spending more, your average order value rises on autopilot.

How it works

Setting up your first progressive discount takes just a few minutes. Choose whether to base it on quantity or subtotal, select your discount type (percentage or fixed), and add as many tiers as you like. Assign the rule to specific products or categories, set your start and end dates, and let WooCommerce handle the rest.

Once it’s active, discounts apply automatically at checkout. Customers see their savings in real time, and you can track performance directly from your dashboard. It’s simple, scalable, and built to grow alongside your business.

Real-world example

Sasha runs a natural skincare store. Her promotion is simple:

10% off orders over $50
15% off orders over $100
20% off orders over $150

Her customers now spend 25% more on average. As they shop, they can see exactly how close they are to the next savings level, and it works like a charm every time.

Works seamlessly with your store

Progressive Discounts fits neatly into your WooCommerce admin with a clean, intuitive setup. It’s designed for store owners who want to sell smarter, not harder.

Run evergreen loyalty programs, seasonal promotions, or flash sales without touching your regular pricing structure. Combine it with Order Tags for WooCommerce to flag high-value orders or Account Funds to keep loyal customers coming back.

Progressive Discounts turns “I’ll just grab one” into “Might as well add another.”
