With legacy mode off, you can add a rental straight from the WooCommerce order screen: choose the product, variation or bundle, the dates and, where the product offers them, one of its rental periods. The rental is priced for you and checked against your availability rules. When a customer wants different dates, change them on the order with Edit rental instead of cancelling and booking again. New installs run this way by default. Stores upgraded from version 6 start in legacy mode and can switch it off in Rentals » Settings » Advanced.

Is this a WordPress rental plugin I can use without WooCommerce?
No. Rental Products is an extension for WooCommerce, so you need WordPress with WooCommerce 9.9 or later. Your rentals are WooCommerce products and your rental orders are WooCommerce orders.
Does this WooCommerce rental plugin support hourly rentals?
Rental Products supports daily and multi-day rentals with pickup and return times. If you need hour-by-hour scheduling, let us know. We’re gathering feedback to shape it.
Can I collect refundable security deposits?
Yes. Add a deposit amount to any product. It’s captured at checkout and can be refunded when items return safely. You control whether deposits are taxable and whether they’re refundable or non-refundable.
Can I add or change a rental on an order myself?
Yes, when legacy mode is off. On the WooCommerce order screen, use Add rental product to choose the product, dates and rental period, and Edit rental to change the dates later. New installs have legacy mode off. Stores upgraded from version 6 start with it on and can switch it off in Rentals » Settings » Advanced.
My variable products aren’t showing rental options. What’s wrong?
For variable products, you must configure rental settings on each variation, not just the parent product. Edit the product, expand each variation, and set the rental price there.
Can I sync bookings to Google Calendar or Outlook?
Yes. Enable the iCal feed in Rentals → Calendar → Feed, then subscribe to the URL from any calendar app. It’s one-way: WooCommerce to your calendar.
