Why stores use Product Likes

Increase return visits: give shoppers a fast “save for later” that behaves like a mini-wishlist.
Merchandise by proof: promote Most-Liked items on home, category, or campaign pages.
Collect zero-party signals: see which products are being wished for to guide inventory and promos.
Speed up checkout: the Likes tab puts saved items one click from Add to Cart.
Plays fine with full wishlists: keep your traditional wishlist plugin for sharing/multiple lists, and use Likes to drive everyday engagement.

How it works

Choose placements for the Like button (product detail, archives, search results, product blocks).
Pick an icon style or disable styles and use your own CSS.
Start tracking Likes automatically for logged-in users and guests. Use reports to spotlight most-wished items.

Features

Like buttons everywhere customers shop

Display the Like action on product pages and across listings, including category archives and search results. Show a live like count next to the icon for social proof.

Favorites (mini-wishlist) in My Account

A dedicated Likes tab shows each customer a paginated list of saved items, with Add to Cart buttons for quick purchases.

Most-Liked product displays

Use WooCommerce’s standard products listing tools to feature your most-liked (most-wished) items anywhere on the site. Perfect for homepages and campaign landers.

Reporting for smarter merchandising

Product totals: total Likes per product with drill-down to which customers liked it
Customer totals: total Likes per customer with drill-down to which products they liked

Both reports include search, sorting, export, and print options.

Guest Likes supported

Let visitors save items without an account. Guest Likes use a browser cookie and contribute to overall totals.

Flexible iconography and styling

Choose heart, star, or thumb icons, or turn off built-in styles and ship your own CSS for a fully branded look.

Data tools

Resync and delete Likes as needed from the tools screen. Handy for staging, resets, and audits.

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from a wishlist plugin?

Likes are frictionless. One tap to save an item and keep browsing. Wishlists often focus on sharing, multiple lists, or gift planning. Many stores run both: Likes for everyday engagement and a wishlist plugin for shareable, curated lists.

Can I use Likes alongside my existing wishlist plugin?

Yes. Product Likes doesn’t replace your wishlist if you need sharing or multi-list features. Use Likes to collect quick “save for later” intent and keep your wishlist for longer-term planning.

Can guests like products?

Yes. Guest Likes are recorded in a browser cookie and contribute to totals. When a shopper creates an account, new Likes are stored to their profile going forward.

Do Likes sync across devices?

Likes sync for logged-in accounts. Guest Likes are local to the browser until the shopper logs in and starts a persistent list.

Can I show a Most-Liked grid on my homepage?

Yes. Use WooCommerce’s standard products listing tools to build a Most-Liked section anywhere.

Which templates show the Like button?

Product pages by default, plus shop, category, tag, and search listings. You can toggle each placement in settings.

Can I change the icon or color?

Yes. Pick heart, star, or thumb in settings, or disable styles and fully customize via CSS.

Is there an export of all Likes?

Yes. Both product and customer reports support CSV export from the dashboard.
