Adding content restriction rules in Constellation WooCommerce memberships plugin

What’s included

Everything you need to run WooCommerce memberships. No add-ons to buy, no features locked behind higher tiers.

Built-in recurring billing

Charge monthly, annually, or any interval. No WooCommerce Subscriptions required.

Content restriction

Protect pages, posts, videos, downloads. Show teasers to drive sign-ups.

Member discounts

Store-wide or per-product pricing for members. Perfect for wholesale or VIP tiers.

Product restriction

Hide products or restrict purchasing to specific plans. Build members-only catalogs.

Member directories

Display member profiles publicly or to other members. Custom fields for any data you need.

Content dripping

Release content over time based on membership age. Ideal for courses and onboarding.

Built for how membership businesses operate

Whether you’re paywalling content or running a wholesale portal, Constellation handles the membership logic.

Publishers & content creators

Paywall articles, videos, podcasts. Show free teasers that convert visitors to subscribers.

Wholesale & B2B stores

Restrict catalog access to approved buyers. Offer member-only pricing without workarounds.

Trade associations

Profile fields, searchable directories, printable membership cards. Manage your roster.

Works for publishers, educators, wholesale distributors, professional organizations, and communities. Running a rental business with member pricing? Rental Products pairs well for member-only rental access.

What membership site owners are saying

We’ve helped hundreds of WooCommerce stores add memberships without the two-plugin headache.

“We migrated from WooCommerce Memberships in about 10 minutes. All our plans and members came over automatically. Wish we’d switched sooner.”

Professional association, 500+ members

“Finally don’t need Subscriptions just to charge monthly. One plugin, one annual fee, and it actually gets updated regularly.”

Content creator with paywalled courses

$249/year. Everything included.

WooCommerce Memberships is $199/year but doesn’t include recurring billing. Add WooCommerce Subscriptions ($199/year) and you’re at $398. Constellation gives you both in one plugin.

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers to the questions we hear most. Need something else? Reach out to support.

Do I need WooCommerce Subscriptions for recurring membership fees?

No. Constellation has built-in recurring billing. Charge monthly, annually, or any interval without buying another plugin. If you already own Subscriptions and want its advanced features (proration, plan switching), Constellation works with it too.

Can I migrate from WooCommerce Memberships?

Yes. Deactivate WooCommerce Memberships, install Constellation, and your membership plans, members, and restriction rules migrate automatically. No manual work required.

Does Constellation protect video files from being shared?

Constellation protects pages and posts at the content level. For video files, we recommend Vimeo or similar with domain locking enabled. See our guide to restricting video content.

What happens if I don’t renew my license?

Your membership site keeps running. Members keep access, billing continues, content stays protected. You just won’t receive updates or support until you renew.

Does Constellation support team or corporate memberships?

Not yet. Team memberships are on our roadmap. For now, you can manually assign multiple users to the same plan as a workaround.

What if it doesn’t work for my store?

30-day money-back guarantee. If Constellation doesn’t fit your needs, let us know and we’ll refund your purchase.
