Over the past year, we’ve been working hard behind the scenes to significantly improve our Order Delivery for WooCommerce extension.
We’ve now launched Version 4 – bringing more flexibility, clearer settings, and better performance.
🚚 Separate Delivery & Pickup Scheduling
Previously, delivery scheduling controlled both deliveries and local pickups using the “Enable for local pickup” option. While functional, this meant delivery and pickup had to share the same days and time frames.
With v4, delivery and pickup scheduling are now completely separate.
This gives you full granular control over:
- Delivery days and time frames
- Pickup days and time frames
- Independent configuration for each
If you previously used the “Enable for local pickup” setting, we strongly recommend reviewing our migration guide before upgrading to ensure a smooth transition.
⚙️ Cleaner, More Intuitive Settings
We’ve reorganized and improved the settings experience.
You’ll now find everything under:
WooCommerce > Settings > Delivery & Pickup Dates
What’s improved:
- Clearer, more descriptive setting labels
- Conditional sections (e.g., Pickup settings only appear if enabled)
- Ability to enable scheduling for delivery, pickup, or both
- Fully separated Delivery Scheduling and Pickup Scheduling sections
The result? A cleaner, more intuitive setup experience.
🛠 Bug Fixes, Improvements & Documentation Updates
Alongside the major features, this release includes numerous bug fixes and quality-of-life enhancements – such as clearly labelling orders as Delivery or Pickup in the orders list, improved compatibility with CheckoutWC, and more.
We’ve completely rewritten our documentation as well, making it clearer and easier to follow. The updated docs will be available with the v4 launch.
✨ Recent Features You May Have Missed
Over the past few releases, we’ve also introduced several major improvements:
